Artist Bio
Kari Doyle
Kari Doyle is an emerging artist currently pursuing a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Adelaide Central School of Art. Born and raised in Adelaide, Kari has always had a love for the Visual Arts. Having previously completed a Degree in Photography, Kari's creative journey took a temporary pause as life took different directions. However, in 2017, she rediscovered her love for artistic expression and began to explore painting in her spare time. It was this rekindled enthusiasm that led her to embark on her current Visual Arts path, enrolling in the Adelaide Central School of Arts degree program in 2021 to further cultivate her skills in painting and drawing. Kari has exhibited her work in various group exhibitions at Black Diamond Gallery, where she won a first prize and several merit awards. Moreover, she collaborated on a duo exhibition Eudemonia with fellow artist Olivia Saman, demonstrating her collaborative spirit and commitment to artistic growth. Between 2017 – 2019 Kari wrote and illustrated three self-published children’s books: Start Creating, The Inner Critic, and Creative Seasons. Her artistic approach has been featured in New Zealand publication The Inspired Guide. As Kari continues to immerse herself in her studies and artistic pursuits, she looks forward to expanding her creative vocabulary and exploring new avenues of self-expression.
